Privacy policy

Clear Data Handling for a Practical Estimating Tool.

This page explains what information Gravel Calculator may process, how project data is stored, and which third-party services support analytics, crash reporting, and advertising.

Effective date

This privacy policy is effective as of April 3, 2026.

What the app stores locally

Gravel Calculator is designed to work without account creation. Saved estimates and project history are stored locally on your device so you can reopen jobs later.

  • project dimensions and selected shape
  • material preset and overage selections
  • saved estimate results and job history

Analytics and crash reporting

The app uses Firebase Analytics to measure product usage such as screen views, estimate completion, and saved result flows. It also uses Firebase Crashlytics to capture crash diagnostics and non-fatal error reports so app stability can be improved.

  • screen and navigation events
  • feature interaction events such as estimate completion or history access
  • crash logs, device state, and technical diagnostics

Advertising

Gravel Calculator may display Google AdMob advertising when advertising services are enabled by the publisher. If advertising is enabled, Google may collect app interaction and device information required to serve, measure, and improve ads.

The app does not currently provide in-app toggles for advertising or analytics preferences. Any available ad and privacy controls are provided through your device, Google account, or platform-level settings where applicable.

What we do not request

  • no account signup inside the app
  • no precise GPS location for calculations
  • no direct payment or card processing inside the app
  • no need to provide a name, phone number, or mailing address to calculate estimates

Policy changes

This privacy policy may be updated as the app changes. If data practices materially change, the policy will be revised and the updated effective date will appear on this page.
